چکیده
Due to the increasing demand for Internet of Things (IoT) applications with sensitive data, use encryption on constrained devices is crucial protecting and ensuring privacy security. The used in such have limited computational power, memory, energy resources, making them vulnerable attacks that exploit these limitations. Lightweight cryptography has been growing fast recent years aiming circumvent lack security types devices. We propose a modular solution capitalizes strengths lightweight offer an approach can be easily adapted meet needs private wireless sensor networks. designed work multi-hop communication networks, where Nodes out range Gateway part network, offering same level Node has. To further enhance lifetime our incorporates key renewal mechanism supports signature schemes integrity. Additionally, it distributed achieve high levels scalability. Experimental results show using top standard protocols does not introduce significant overhead terms performance.

A lightweight secure data transmission protocol for resource constrained devices
In this paper we present a lightweight but robust security protocol based on the forward and backward property of RC4 stream cipher. The proposed protocol offers data confidentiality, data authentication, data integrity, and data freshness with less operation and low overhead. Also, it allows data packets to be received in any arbitrary order and achieves semantic security. Furthermore, it elim...

The term "Internet of Things (IoT)" expresses a huge network of smart and connected objects which can interact with other devices without our interposition. Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a great technology and an interesting candidate to provide communications for IoT networks, but numerous security and privacy issues need to be considered. In this paper, we analyze the security and ...
متن کاملA Lightweight Protocol for Interconnecting Heterogeneous Devices in Dynamic Environments
In the near future people will be able to move freely and still have seamless network and Internet connectivity. One implication of this new style of interaction is an increased diversity in the types of devices which will be used to maintain connectivity. While many of the Internet protocols have proven successful and long-lived in traditional networks, we believe they will be inappropriate fo...
متن کاملLEBRP - A Lightweight and Energy Balancing Routing Protocol for Energy-Constrained Wireless Ad Hoc Networks
A wireless ad hoc network typically refers to any set of wireless networks where all devices have equal status on a network and are free to associate with any other wireless ad hoc network devices in their range. As the nature of these networks, they commonly do not have external power supplies, and each node has a limited internal power source. In this paper, we put forward a new routing proto...
متن کاملLeiA: A Lightweight Authentication Protocol for CAN
Recent research into automotive security has shown that once a single vehicle component is compromised, it is often possible to take full control of the vehicle. This paper proposes LeiA, a lightweight authentication protocol for the Controller Area Network (CAN). This protocol allows critical vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to authenticate each other providing compartmentalisation and ...
